While her education began in art history and sculpture, Jennifer Behr took her eye for fashion and artistry and became a seamstress at a millinery shop. Shortly thereafter, she designed a hair accessory collection for stylist Frédéric Fekkai in 2001, instantly putting her name on the map. Only a few years later, she sold her own name collection to an eager buyer at the esteemed Bergdorf Goodman. Each piece is handmade in one of several workshops throughout New York City and then carefully finished in a vintage sewing factory overlooking the East River in Brooklyn. Jennifer Behr’s eye for quality, tradition, and class makes each piece a unique work of art that can only be described as ‘jewellery for the hair.’ Whether composed of hand-curled silk ribbons, Swarovski crystals, bold metal chains, or imported leather, her accessories add flair and elegance to every ensemble.
