After studying pattern making and draping at the London International School of Fashion in South Africa, Sarah Janks returned to London where she apprenticed as a tailor and continued to hone her craft. This exhilarating capital of fashion burgeoned her creativity and her work with other designers such as Jenny Packham and Hamish Morrow developed her into a top-notch artist. She also worked alongside fashion design veteran Roland Mouret, with whom she collaborated on a new icon: the Galaxy dress. While her own name label is just a few years old, her collections continue to be received with critical acclaim and are now being sold in various shops in Australia, Europe and the USA.
